Shibutani siblings among Olympic ice skaters performing at U-M to raise money for children with serious illnesses

Many of the U.S. and world’s great Olympic ice skaters are coming together for a great cause this Sunday, March 9 at 5 p.m. at the University of Michigan’s newly renovated Yost Ice Arena.

FrenchieSkate 2014 will feature a roster of performers, including Jeremy Abbott, 2014 and 2010 U.S. Olympic Team, 2014 Team Bronze medalist and four-time U.S. Men’s Champion; Jason Brown, who was the Bronze Medalist in Sochi; siblings and Olympic ice dancers Alex and Maia Shibutani; Kaitlyn Weaver and Andrew Poje, who placed seventh for Canada in the 2014 Olympics; and the Ann Arbor Hockettes Synchronized Skating Team. Michael Buckley, internet celebrity and vlogger, will also be the show’s guest emcee.
