As some of you may or may not know, I wrote an in-depth (2,300 words or so) article for Sesi Magazine’s fall 2014 issue and it’s all about #BlackGreekLife. The purpose? To help high school seniors decide if sorority life is for them and if so, which one is perfect for them. I interviewed girls from all four major Black sororities: Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Zeta Phi Beta, and Sigma Gamma Rho. Readers will get an inside scoop on what really goes on behind the scenes. From common stereotypes to community service to leadership opportunities, you can rest assured that all your questions about Greek life will be answered in this article. It was such an honor to be able to contribute to Sesi. I cannot tell you how rewarding it was to receive my issue in the mail earlier this month and see my byline and words grace those glossy pages. It’s a feeling that only journalists and writers can understand, I guess.
