Princess Gabbara is a writer, editor and storyteller. As a freelancer, she has penned stories for Shondaland, BitchMedia.org, VIBE, TheGrio.com, EBONY magazine, Jetmag.com, Essence, The Boombox, Bustle, Sesi, and Greatist, to name a few. She was previously the things-to-do reporter for the Lansing State Journal, part of the USA TODAY Network.

Her writing has allowed her to interview some pretty cool folks, including NBA Hall of Famer Karl Malone, Trevor Jackson (twice) from Freeform’s Grown-ish, and Broadway star and former Glee cast member Alex Newell.

A native of southeast Michigan, Princess holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Eastern Michigan University. When she’s not busy pounding away the keyboard, she can be spotted obsessing over all types of music, collecting vinyl records, laughing until it hurts, stalking Fenty Beauty for the newest launches, and never missing an episode of AMC’s The Walking Dead.

I don't write articles. I tell stories.
